Summary

 

Develop and execute system and software test plans for Nestwave's geolocation products.  Experience with white box and black box embedded system testing is a must.  Experience with geolocation technology strongly preferred.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop system, software and firmware validation and regression test plans for GNSS, 4G/TDOA and WiFi positioning products. 

  • Adapt market requirements and product specifications to testing KPIs and pass/fail criteria.

  • Responsible for running tests using software and system simulation/emulation tools and conducting outdoor field testing.

  • Develop testing and reporting automation solutions as needed

  • Collaborate with R&D, project management and marketing teams to ensure test plans and KPIs are aligned with needs and reporting is conducted in a timely manner

 

Requirements and Desired Skills

  • BS/MS in Electrical engineering, Computer Science or related fields

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in geolocation (e.g GNSS/GPS) validation

  • Strong srcipt programming skills (e.g. python)

  • Embedded SW experience with C/C++

  • Knowledge of GNSS protocols such as AGPS, AGNSS, NMEA

  • Experience with embedded digital interfaces such as SMB/SPMI/SPI/UART/I2C/JTAG

  • Familiarity with lab equipment such as simulators, signal generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, etc.

  • Experience with version control, issue tracking (e.g. Git and JIRA)

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
